This is an all time question that has attracted many responses. You have gotten to that point in life when you are certain about who your life partner is going to be, and preparation is on top notch.
Some of the opposite sex you've had sexual relationship with are happy for you while some are saddened by the fact that they never got to be that lucky finalist. Some crazy ones will put up stunts to see if there could be a last minute mind change (yeah, we have them like that). Some will accept their faith believing you and them weren't just meant for each other.
My point of emphasy focuses on those few nights or alone times you have to spend as either a spinster or a bachelor. I have had friends who would tell me; Ah! I will take my time and catch the final fun oh! At least when I'm married, I will know I'm married and won't be having extramarital affairs.
